Plenty of people wouldn't want that even for general use. The best CPU you could drop in is a Core 2 Duo. The whole system is typically worth more in parts than what it's being sold for (because of their limitation to low profile PCIe cards). You could get a new HP Elite or Dell Optiplex system instead, they typically sell for 100-150$ and have a Core i5 2nd-4th gen, at least a 500GB HDD and may even come with an SSD and 8GB RAM. Once what's compatible with the 745, I will be upgrading it at micro center&make a complete post. Oh, and in case if you're wondering what games I'm trying to upgrade it to run, its games like Minecraft,tf2,cs:go,killing floor 2,warzone,overwatch and GTA V. But, I am looking to upgrade the following: *PSU *Give it a low profile GPU (the best one there is without modifying the case) *SSD (The 745 I own used to have a hard drive, but I ended up destroying it.) *CPU ( *Motherboard (maybe?) *RAM (if I can give it more than 4gb?) *a new OS (Windows 10) the optiplex currently runs windows 7 professional And that's about it. The specs that it has are unknown but it may be just the same spec you'll see in any 745. I am looking to upgrade it to run games to make it worth a while. The Optiplex is super dusty when I checked it out again after years of basically being abandoned.
